International organizations offer Ukrainians jobs that pay $1200 and more: State Employment Service publishes figures

The State Employment Service has published more than 266 thousand vacancies. International organizations and companies also post their vacancies on the government agency's single portal. Most of them offer salaries starting at UAH 50 thousand ($1212).

This is stated in the data of the Unified Job Portal. For example, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has posted a vacancy for a journalist at the State Employment Center. The salary is UAH 53.7 thousand ($1300). The journalist is also offered health insurance.

Mercy Corps (a non-governmental humanitarian organization) is looking for a manager for a salary of UAH 111.1 thousand ($2689). The same organization is looking for agender specialist for a salary of UAH 94.3 thousand ($2284).

The Westminster Foundation for Democracy (a UK-based non-governmental public organization) offers a salary of UAH 97.5 thousand ($2362) for a project and program management specialist. "High level of Excel skills and experience in using accounting packages, such as Business Central. Experience in preparing accurate information documents. Excellent level of written and oral communication in English and Ukrainian," the announcement reads.

The Doctors Without Borders-Belgium Charitable Foundation offers jobs for psychologists with a salary of UAH 59.5 thousand ($1441). The work is to be done in Dnipro. The same organization is looking for a public health manager in Mykolaiv for a salary of UAH 70.3 thousand ($1703).

The International Rescue Committee (IRC is an international humanitarian organization) offers a job for an information technology specialist with a salary of UAH 61.6 thousand ($1492). "The interview is conducted online. We provide the organization's users with the necessary IT resources. Your responsibilities are managing the installation, configuration, maintenance, repair, security and documentation of the local network, desktop/laptop computers, communication resources and other office equipment," the announcement reads.

It should be noted that among the vacancies there is also a large number of offers with salaries from 50 thousand UAH and from Ukrainian employers.

Earlier, it was reported that the lack of workers has led to a significant increase in wages in seasonal industries, particularly in the agricultural and construction sectors. Wages in the agricultural sector increased by 46.15%, and in the construction sector - by 54.4% compared to 2023.
