June is the hottest time for gardeners. It is important to apply fertilizer to the garden on time and provide plants with protection from the heat through quality watering. The root part should be protected from direct sunlight. The ideal organic mulch is grass clippings.

What vegetables to plant in June
Asparagus beans – early varieties of the crop can be planted in the first half of June. The harvest will ripen in about 60 days. Experienced gardeners emphasize that within 10 days after the beans are set, the pods become juicy and tender.
Carrots – you can sow late varieties for winter storage. They will ripen in late September or early October.
Daikon is a Japanese radish with a large root vegetable that contains many vitamins. Daikon takes about 60-100 days to ripen. Medium and late varieties are best planted in the second half of June or early July.
Cabbage – early varieties are best planted in early June. White cabbage has a short ripening period and is not intended for long-term winter storage. On average, the ripening period is 110 days. During the dry season, cabbage should be watered at the rate of 2 liters of water per plant, but waterlogging should not be allowed either.
Chinese cabbage – it is best to plant this crop in late June and early July. The crop needs a lot of free space, so the optimal distance should be 35-45 cm.

- peas;
- spicy herbs (dill, parsley, basil, oregano, thyme, etc.).
