Sea buckthorn tea with orange and cinnamon: better than in a cafe
Autumn is a time for warming, flavorful drinks. One of them is sea buckthorn tea, which also has an extremely interesting flavor.
You can make this drink at home. And with the recipe from a food blogger named gordynovskaya, which she shared on Instagram, sea buckthorn tea will be better than in any cafe.
Ingredients
- sea buckthorn - 400-500 g
- orange juice - 1 pc
- orange zest - 1 pc
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- honey or sugar - to taste
- ginger
- lemon - to taste
Method of preparation
1. Rinse the sea buckthorn thoroughly, add water and leave for 10 minutes. Then rinse again.
2. Zest the orange and add it to the sea buckthorn along with the fruit pulp and cinnamon.
3. Add honey or sugar to taste.
4. Beat thoroughly with a blender.
5. Pour the finished mixture into ice cube trays and freeze. Then put the cubes in a bag for long-term storage.
6. Prepare the tea. Pour hot water (not boiling water) over 2-3 pieces of frozen sea buckthorn.
7. Optionally, add a slice of ginger and lemon.
