Pumpkin pie for tea: how to prepare a delicious seasonal dessert
Pumpkin pie is a great baking option for tea. It evokes a real atmosphere of warmth and family comfort on cool autumn days. And to make such a delicacy, you only need a few simple ingredients.
The idea of making a pumpkin pie for tea was published on the Instagram page of a food blogger named valerikiry. Be sure to add ginger and cinnamon.
Ingredients for the dough:
- pumpkin - 90 g
- carrots - 90 g
- eggs - 2 pcs
- vegetable oil - 140 g
- sugar - 100 g
- baking powder - 10 g
- flour - 140 g
- cinnamon, ginger - 0.5 tsp
- a pinch of salt
Ingredients for the cream:
- cream cheese - 200 g
- powdered sugar - (2-3 tbsp)
Method of preparation:
1. Add a pinch of salt, baking powder, cinnamon, ground ginger to the sifted flour.
2. Beat eggs with sugar until white and fluffy. It will take 3-4 minutes.
3. Add vegetable oil. Stir.
4. Add the flour in two steps. The batter should resemble thick sour cream.
5. Add the carrots and pumpkin grated on a small grater and stir (you can also add nuts and raisins - 50 g).
6. Pour the batter in the mold and bake at 150-160 degrees on the middle level without convention for 40 minutes.
7. Make the cream (mix the ingredients with a spatula until smooth) and spread it on the cake (be sure to wait until it cools down).
