The National Police showed a video of the moment of the attack on the Epicenter in Kharkiv, filmed by surveillance cameras inside the building. It shows employees and visitors walking around the plumbing room, unaware that a real hell will break loose in a moment.

The video was posted by Serhii Bolvinov, head of the Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv region. He emphasized that rescuers are currently looking for the bodies of at least seven victims under the rubble.

"The video that investigators are currently working with shows the moment of the attack. It clearly shows that people were completely unprepared for such an attack, they were at their workplaces and going about their business. We are now studying every minute of the footage," he said.

According to the head, people are still being searched for under the rubble.

"There are already 13 dead (by 12:00, the number of victims increased to 14 - Ed.). The bodies of seven more victims, who are being searched for by relatives and colleagues, have not yet been found. They are considered missing. As well as those people whose remains have already been found, but we are still working with DNA," Bolvinov wrote at 11:51 a.m.

He urged everyone who does not know about the fate of their loved ones and is looking for them to report it to the police. And be sure to submit DNA samples.

"This is the only way to identify those who have already been found and will be found at the site of the attack. Report the disappearance of people who might have been in the Epicenter," Bolvinov emphasized.

On the afternoon of Saturday, May 25, Russians attacked Kharkiv with guided bombs. The invaders hit the Epicenter hypermarket and a park, and there are dead and wounded.

More than 40 people were injured in the Epicenter alone, the death toll as of 10 a.m. was 12, and more people are being searched for under the rubble.

Most of the victims have not yet been identified. Due to the massive fire that covered thousands of square meters, this can only be done through DNA testing.

Meanwhile, as of the evening of May 25, the police received statements that 17 people could have been in the Epicenter at the time of the attack and have not been in touch since. Most of them are employees of the hypermarket, but there are also visitors among the missing, including a 12-year-old girl.

In the morning, the number of victims increased, but it is difficult to say whether all the dead are people from the lists of missing persons until the examinations are completed.

The West has reacted to the terrorist attack on the Epicenter. The United States and Europe pledged to hold Russia accountable for its war crimes. And the UN representatives in Ukraine called Russian strikes on civilian infrastructure "absolutely unacceptable."
