Astana

The capital of the country is a good example of a modern and progressive metropolis. It is developing and expanding rapidly. Here you will find many stunning buildings and bizarre sculptures that have become famous all over the world. Still, there are no historical buildings in this city. However, you can spend your time here comfortably.

We recommend going to the Khan Shatyr shopping and entertainment center. It was included in the list of the best eco-buildings in the world. According to Forbes Style magazine, tourists will definitely have something to see. The building was erected in the form of a transparent tent, inside which a beach resort operates.

Then go to the Baiterek Tower. In addition to its original appearance, the structure boasts an observation deck. It offers stunning views.

Almaty

This huge metropolis is considered the soul of the country. Trends and customs live side by side here. Modern pop and folk songs are played on the streets, and restaurants serve authentic dishes with new twists. Most locals are sure that getting to know their country should start with this city.

We advise you to go straight to the main attraction, Kok Tobe. This location offers incredible views of the Tien Shan mountain range. Here, at an altitude of 1130 meters, there are many cultural and entertainment attractions: a petting zoo, a wishing fountain, an art gallery, and a ferris wheel. There are three ways to get to the location: on foot, by cable car, or by car.

Do not forget to explore the outskirts of the metropolis. Charyn Canyon, home to rare representatives of flora and fauna, is not far from Almaty. Some of them are listed in the Red Book.

Aktau

This is a warm city that grew up in the desert in just a few years. In 1963, oil production began to be active here. This was the impetus for accelerated construction.

Today, Aktau is a resort area of Kazakhstan. It has well-equipped beaches and a well-developed tourist infrastructure.

We recommend taking a stroll around the neighborhood of the only port in Kazakhstan. Walk to the lighthouse, which is located on the roof of a residential building. Be sure to visit Beket Ata, a white mosque with sky-blue domes.

Kostanay

A cozy Kazakh town is located on the banks of the Tobol River. Upon arrival, travelers immediately head to the waterfront. There are children's rides, bicycle paths, and attractions here.

In Kostanay, be sure to visit the toy exhibition hall, the Ak-Mosque shrine, and the local history museum. In addition, be sure to take a ride on a double-decker bus. Its route runs through the famous tourist locations.
