The Village of the Darnytsia Carriage Repair Plant, better known as DVRZ, was founded in Kyiv in 1934. At that time, these were white two- or three-story buildings that looked almost like palaces due to their stucco molding and appearance.

The old photos were published on the Telegram channel of the Kyiv Living History community. Nowadays, this location has changed a lot.

"Archival photos of the Village of the Darnytsia Carriage Repair Plant of the 1960s," the message reads.

In 1970, the water level in the Dnipro River in Kyiv was very low. As a result, large shoals could be seen between the islands located between the left and right banks of the city.

Kyiv has always attracted tourists for its architecture and large number of trees. In the fall, the city turned into an artist's palette, as captured by a photographer's camera in the 1970s.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, in the 50s and 60s of the twentieth century, Kyiv used to build shallow and small outdoor summer pools in different districts. In summer, it was a place of concentration for children, where they enjoyed spending a lot of time.
