Sprats sandwiches for the holiday table: how to prepare a new snack
Sandwiches are the easiest appetizer for the holiday table. They can be made with a variety of foods: from sausage to fish, meat, vegetables, and spreads.
Foodblogger Julia with the nickname zefirok_recipes on her Instagram page shared a recipe for simple and budget sprats and spread sandwiches that you can make in just 10 minutes.
Ingredients:
- toasted bread/baguette
- sprats - 1 can
- cucumber - 1 pc
- processed cheese - 75 g
- eggs - 2 pcs
- garlic - 2-3 cloves
- mayonnaise - 1-2 tbsp.
- salt, pepper
Method of cooking:
1. Cut the baguette and fry it in a little oil or toast it in a toaster oven.
2. Boil the eggs and grate them on a coarse grater.
3. Grate also cheese on a coarse grater, pass the garlic through the press.
4. Mix the eggs, cheese, garlic, add mayonnaise and mix until smooth, salt and pepper to taste.
5. Place the resulting mass on the crouton, put a cucumber circle and put the sprats on top. Garnish with greens if desired.
