In Odessa, a man who filmed the work of air defense, sent to jail: he faces eight years in prison

In Ukraine sentenced to prison a resident of Odessa, who recorded on the phone the work of air defense. For him must serve eight years behind bars.

This is the measure of restraint he chose the Primorsky district court of Odessa. This is reported by the local edition of "Dumskaya".

According to the publication, the footage was shot on the night of April 4 on Inglesi Street, when Russian occupants attacked the city with Shahed kamikaze drones. An Odessa resident, having recorded the air defense combat work on his phone camera, subsequently publicized the corresponding video clip online.

However, the identity of the "operator", who used the 12th iPhone, the SSU officers were able to establish only in July. Already on the 18th the man was detained.

He was charged with committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement, movement or deployment of AFU forces, committed in wartime conditions.

According to the sanction of the article, the resident of Odessa faces up to eight years of imprisonment. The court decided to arrest him without the possibility for him to be released on bail.

The man, despite the ban, filmed and posted on the network the reflection of enemy targets by the defenders on the night of July 19, when the Russian Federation attacked Odessa with "Shaheds" and different types of missiles. After a public apology, the Odessan was handed a summons to the TCC.
