How to clean your hands from fuel oil after car repair: a life-saving method
Do-it-yourself car repair can be a real hobby. After all, any manual labor that brings pleasure calms you down and cheers you up. But a side effect of this hobby will almost certainly be dirty hands. Fuel oil, grease, and other substances used in cars are not so easy to clean. Ordinary soap will not help.
However, OBOZREVATEL has learned about a paste that can cope even with such contamination. You can make it yourself. You will need:
- laundry soap - 1 bar
- water
- dishwashing liquid
- sifted sand
Grind dry laundry soap in any convenient way, for example, on a coarse grater, and pour a small amount of water. In about 12 hours, it will dissolve and turn into a thick paste. Add a few drops of dishwashing liquid and a little sand and mix everything thoroughly. The product is ready.
Store this cleaning paste in a tightly closed container. Otherwise, it will dry out and you won't be able to use it.
It is best to use this handwashing product outdoors right next to the garage because the sand in its composition has the ability to clog the sewer system. And it's impossible to give up this component because it is the abrasive that helps to wipe away dirt. Also, after using the paste, be sure to lubricate your hands with a nourishing cream.
