If you need to make a quick lunch, lasagna is the perfect option. You'll need dough but you don't need to knead or roll it out as you can buy ready-made sheets in the store. You just need to put it in a mold and bake it.

The idea of making a hearty lasagna for lunch was published on the Instagram page of nutritionist Solomiia Naum (fitfoodsolomia). For the filling, you will need minced meat.

Ingredients:

  • lasagna sheets - 6 pcs
  • cheese - 75 g

Ingredients for bolognese sauce:

  • minced chicken - 350 g
  • onion - 1/2 pc,
  • carrots - 1/2 pc
  • olive oil - 10 g
  • tomato sauce (you can use tomatoes in their own juice by beating them in a blender) - 350 g
  • salt, pepper, Italian herbs - to taste

Ingredients for bechamel sauce:

  • milk - 400 ml
  • corn starch - 30 g
  • salt - a pinch

Method of preparation:

1. For bolognese sauce, chop the onion and carrot.

2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan and fry the onion for about 5 minutes until transparent.

3. Add the carrot and fry for another 5-7 minutes.

4. Put minced meat in a frying pan and fry for about 10 minutes, breaking up the lumps.

5. Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and herbs, stir and simmer for about 15 minutes.

6. For bechamel sauce, mix milk with starch and salt, put on the stove and cook the sauce until it thickens, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.

7. Pour a thin layer of bechamel sauce into the mold. Then put the lasagna sheets.

8. Add bechamel sauce again, then bolognese sauce and lasagna sheets.

9. Repeat this step several more times until you run out of ingredients (the last layer should be bolognese sauce).

10. Sprinkle with grated cheese and put in the oven for 20 minutes. Cut the finished lasagna into portions and serve.
