Delicious lightly salted tomatoes in a bag: the easiest recipe for dry pickling
Tomatoes are one of the tastiest and healthiest summer vegetables, used to make delicious salads, as well as salted, pickled, and canned. It's worth noting that tomatoes and cucumbers can be pickled even in a few hours, you just need to know the right recipe.
Cook Olha Matvii shared a recipe for delicious pickled tomatoes on her YouTube channel, which are prepared in a bag and will be ready in 2 days (to watch the video, scroll to the end).
Cooking tip: tomatoes should be all the same size!
Ingredients:
- Tomatoes – 1 kg
- Garlic – 2 heads
- Dill – 50 g
- Salt – 1 tbsp.
- Sugar – 1 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the tomatoes, and cut off the edges.
2. Put the tomatoes in a bag.
3. Chop the garlic and herbs and add to the bag.
4. Add salt and sugar, mix well, and tie the bag.
5. Put another bag on top of the packet and refrigerate.
6. After 2 days, cut the bag open and you can eat delicious tomatoes.
