Homemade bagels can replace any pie and are much easier to prepare. To make the dough successful and the bagels crispy, cooks advise adding sour cream and butter to the base.

The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious, crispy bagels with jam, the dough for which is very easy to prepare.

Recipe for bagels

Ingredients:

  • flour – 250 g
  • butter – 100 g
  • sour cream – 100 g
  • sugar – 50 g
  • vinegar – 1 tsp.
  • soda – 0.5 tsp.
  • jam (thick) – 100 g

Method of preparation:

1. Mix melted butter with sour cream and add baking soda slaked with vinegar. Pour in the sugar and sifted flour, knead the dough, and divide it into 3 parts at once.

2. Roll out each piece into a thin layer, trim the edges with a plate, and divide the dough into small pieces.

3. Put the filling and roll the bagels, roll in sugar, and put them in the oven to bake at 180 C for about 15-20 minutes.
