Creamy cauliflower casserole with cheese for dinner: an elementary recipe
Cauliflower is a tasty and healthy vegetable that can be used to make soups, baked, fried in batter, salads, cutlets, and even steak. It's worth noting that it would be an ideal product for a hearty casserole.
Food blogger Anastasiia Solopiy shared a recipe on Instagram for a delicious and satisfying cauliflower, cheese, and cream casserole that would be an ideal dinner option.
Ingredients:
- cauliflower – 1 pc.
- butter – 30 g
- flour – 30 g
- hard cheese – 100 g
- nutmeg – a pinch
- pepper, salt – to taste
1. Disassemble the cabbage into florets and boil in salted water.
2. Melt the butter in a saucepan and fry the flour.
3. Gradually pour in the milk and mix thoroughly so that there are no lumps.
4. Season with salt, and nutmeg, stir and let stand for a while to thicken the sauce.
5. Put the cabbage in a baking dish, pour over the sauce, and sprinkle with grated cheese.
6. Put in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 200°C.
