Without dough and eggs: a bulk apple pie for tea
Pies with apples can be made with ordinary yeast dough, as well as with pita bread or phyllo dough. It's worth noting that apples go well with cinnamon, and to keep apples from losing their color, cooks advise adding lemon juice.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for a very simple and delicious apple pie, which is made without dough.
Ingredients:
Dry mix:
- 200 g semolina
- 200 g of flour
- 150 g of sugar
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- a pinch of salt
The filling:
- 140 g butter
- 7 apples+1 tbsp. lemon juice+1 tbsp. sugar
Method of preparation:
1. Mix semolina, flour, sugar, baking soda and salt.
2. Peel and grate the apples, add the lemon juice and sugar.
3. Divide the dry mixture into 4 parts, and divide the apples into 3 parts.
4. Put 1/2 of the grated butter, 1/4 of the dry mixture, 1/3 of the apples, then the dry mixture, apples, dry mixture, apples, dry mixture – butter.
5. Bake for 45 minutes at 180 C.
