Braised cabbage can be made with vegetables, tomato paste, garlic, as well as meat and even ribs, sausages, vegetables, mushrooms, and minced meat. To make the cabbage juicy, you can add sour apples.
The cook shared a recipe on Instagram for a very tasty and satisfying stewed cabbage with meat, tomato sauce, and spices.
Ingredients:
- 1 cabbage
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- 300-400 grams of pork
- 2 tbsp. of tomato sauce
- favorite spices
- herbs
- water
Method of preparation:
1. Fry the meat for 2-3 minutes over high heat.
2. Then add the chopped onion, grated carrots, and chopped cabbage, mix, add the spices and tomato paste.
3. Cook for a few more minutes, then add water. The water should cover half of the cabbage.
4. Simmer for 30 minutes until tender and serve with mashed potatoes, cereals, pasta, or just fresh vegetables!
