How to cook chicken drumsticks for lunch: the meat will be very tender
Chicken drumsticks cook quickly enough to make them perfect for lunch. But don't overcook them in the oven. It is better to stew the meat in a frying pan.
The idea of cooking chicken drumsticks in a creamy sauce was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anna with the nickname anna.demirel. You can add mushrooms to make it more filling.
Ingredients:
- chicken legs - 6 pcs.
- broth - 500 ml (any)
- cream 35% - 80 g
- mushrooms - 150 g
- butter - 30 g
- olive oil - 10 g
- mustard - 1 tbsp
- garlic - 3 cloves
- spices - thyme, as well as any favorite
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and dry the chicken legs with a paper towel.
2. Put the butter and olive oil in a preheated frying pan, then the legs.
3. Fry until golden brown for 10 minutes on each side (20 minutes in total).
4. Set aside the fried legs.
5. Cut the mushrooms into 4 pieces, put each in the same frying pan and fry the mushrooms.
6. Later add garlic, then pour the broth.
7. Bring to a boil, add mustard, cream, spices and salt.
8. Stirring constantly, cook the sauce for about 10 minutes until it thickens slightly.
9. Then put the finished sauce in the mold, then the chicken legs and sprinkle with thyme on top and bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for 15 minutes.
