Healthy beetroot salad for a snack: prepared without mayonnaise
Beetroot is an ideal vegetable for making delicious and healthy salads, appetizers, sauces, and first courses. It is best eaten raw and baked, so it will be most beneficial.
Cook Polina shared a recipe for a healthy and tasty salad made with beets, lettuce, and cheese on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- lettuce leaves
- red onion
- boiled beetroot
- canned tuna (in its own juice)
- feta cheese
- mix of grains for salads
Dressing:
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp of honey
- 1 tsp. mustard seeds
- juice of half a lemon
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the beets into slices.
2. Put all the ingredients in a bowl.
3. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix.
