Airy cottage cheese casserole with semolina for a hearty breakfast
The perfect option for a delicious and satisfying breakfast is a cottage cheese casserole, as well as cheesecakes, porridge, hot sandwiches, scrambled eggs, and omelets. All these dishes take no more than 20 minutes to prepare.
Culinary expert Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi shared a recipe on Instagram for a delicious cottage cheese casserole with semolina that you can cook in the oven for 40 minutes.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese – 500 g
- sugar – 100 g
- vanilla sugar – 10 g
- semolina – 40
- milk – 275 g
- cream 30% – 150 g
- eggs – 2 pcs.
- raisins – 125 g
Method of preparation:
1. Grind the cottage cheese, add sugar, vanilla sugar, semolina, milk, cream, eggs, mix well, and leave to stand for up to 1 hour so that the semolina swells completely.
2. Afterwards, beat the mixture thoroughly with an immersion blender until it is smooth.
3. Pour boiling water over the raisins for 5 minutes to swell them.
4. Then add it to the whipped mixture and mix.
5. Pour the dough into a parchment-lined baking dish, smooth it out, and put it in the oven for 35-40 minutes at 180-200°C.
