Serduchka praises Pugacheva in Jurmala

Ukrainian showman Andriy Danylko, also known as Verka Serduchka, appeared at the Laima Rendezvous Jurmala festival despite the fact that some Ukrainians and his colleagues are boycotting the music event, which features many Russian stars. On stage, the Ukrainian addressed pop singer Alla Pugacheva, who was sitting in the audience, directly and bowed to her.

To pay homage to the star's work and clear stance on Ukraine war, Serduchka sang a few lines of her track "Ty Vozmi Menya S Soboj" (Take Me With You). A video of the singer addressing his old friend was posted on TikTok.

"Oh, my God! Alla Borisovna, congratulations," Danylko said, bending in front of Pugacheva. In response, the singer, who came to the festival with Andrei Makarevich, laughed.

The Ukrainian and his team also sang in Latvian, causing a standing ovation in the audience.

"We live in difficult times. Of course, I couldn't help but come and support Lima. Let's give a big round of applause to Laima Vaikule for organizing this festival despite the hate and all the a**holes," Serduchka said on stage.

Nastya Kamenskykh and Potap, Max Barskykh, and Alekseev also appeared at the festival. At the same time, Olya Polyakova and Nadya Dorofeeva refused to participate.

The annual Lima Vaikule festival is held under the slogan of helping Ukraine and condemning the war, and stars from different countries come to perform. However, there are also Russian citizens or people with dual citizenship who have emigrated from Russia.

It is possible that "good Russians" can be found among the audience. Some Ukrainians are convinced that such events create the illusion of "friendship of nations," which plays into the hands of Russia.
