Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023: Ukraine's representative Anastasia Dymyd received a standing ovation for her performance. Photos and videos
On Sunday, November 26, young singers from 16 countries competed in the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023, which is taking place this year in Nice, France. Anastasia Dymyd, a representative of Ukraine, has already performed as the third entry. The 9-year-old singer impressed the audience with her powerful energy and voice.
The little Ukrainian girl, who, by the way, is the youngest among all this year's contestants, performed the song "Kvitka" (Flower). OBOZ.UA learned about the girl's performance and the reaction of the audience while watching the live broadcast.
The song was written for the young vocalist by the famous singer Svitlana Tarabarova. It tells about a mother's love for her child. According to the author, this feeling has a great power that can heal the world.
Dymyd impressed not only with her unique timbre and strong voice but also with her incendiary performance. She came out in a bright, stylish dress in pink and green colors. The team was clearly inspired by anime, which is very popular among young people, and Anastasia herself transformed into the Ukrainian Sailor Moon, the heroine of the popular anime.
The flower, as the director of the performance noted earlier, has become a symbol of the victory of good over evil and the superpower of all Ukrainian children.
The Ukrainian girl has every chance of winning. The audience greeted her with a standing ovation. After the performance, Anastasia thanked the audience in three languages: Ukrainian, English and French.
