An insider has revealed what kind of future Prince William and Kate Middleton want for their younger children
British Princess Kate Middleton and Prince William have been preparing each of their three children for royalty since the birth of their children. However, the story of Prince Harry (Prince William's brother) leaving the royal family made the couple think about possible rivalry for the throne between their children.
Kate and William are preparing for their eldest son George, now 11 years old, to take the throne of the king, as he is second in line after his father. And in order to avoid any hostility between him and the younger 9-year-old Princess Charlotte and 6-year-old Louis, the parents decided to "modernize" the monarchy and plan to raise their offspring outside the royal family, The Daily Beast writes.
"The working assumption is that the two younger children will live and do their own thing. They will be encouraged not to become working members of the royal family," an insider who allegedly worked at Buckingham and Kensington Palaces told the publication.
This was discussed after the plan of His Majesty Charles III to limit the number of royal family members to reduce the burden on taxpayers was revealed, as the monarchy lives at the expense of ordinary Britons. It turned out that Prince William is going to go even further after he succeeds to the throne.
"When the older members of the family retire, William will not invite anyone else to become a working member of the royal family. It is not yet known whether he will want his two younger children to become working members of the royal family," a source said of Prince William's plan.
The fact that the royal couple is trying to keep their children's lives confidential may also indicate the parents' desire to allow them to choose their own destiny without constant harassment from people interested in the members of the monarchy.
"It's no secret that William has been devastated by the destruction of his relationship with Harry. While he puts the blame entirely on Meghan and Harry, he certainly also realizes that the whole system where one of your children is less important than the other because of the accident of birth played a huge role in what happened and how it happened," a friend of the couple shared with the source. I think they want to find a practical solution to the problem of the 'spare' (as Prince Harry is called after he left Britain - Ed.) that has plagued the family for generations."
Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that the absence of Prince Louis at most royal events where his older brother and sister appear is actually Kate Middleton's plan. He is gradually going to be accustomed to his duties.
