VassilyNebenzya was a Soviet and Russian diplomat-propagandist.

Short biography

Vasily Nebenzya was born on February 26, 1962 in Volgograd.

Immediately after graduating from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 1983, he joined the diplomatic service.

He worked as an attaché at the Soviet Embassy in Thailand and in various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

In 2013-2017, he was Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Since July 2017, he has been permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations and the UN Security Council.

He was included in the "Peacekeeper" database for his illegal visit to the temporarily occupied Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea.

Repeatedly participated in Russian propaganda, denied Russian aggression against Ukraine and tried to legalize the occupation of Crimea.

During the UN Security Council, he denied the facts of the genocide committed by the Russian occupiers in Bucha near Kiev.

Family

Nebenzya is married. His wife is Lyudmila Kasintseva. Has a son - Sergei.
