Yevgeny Prigozhin threatened Africa

The owner of the Russian private military company Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said he was in Africa. He threatened that the Wagner people would make Africa "even freer".

The video message was published on one of the propaganda Telegram channels on 21 August. The Russian recorded the video against the backdrop of an open area with weapons in his hands and in uniform. Military equipment can be seen behind Prigozhin (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the page).

The leader of the Wagner group did not specify which country he was in. However, he claims that he continues to recruit militants.

On 21 August, Prigozhin said that he was in Africa.

"We are working. The temperature is +50°. Everything is as we like it. Wagner Group is conducting exploration and prospecting activities. Making Russia even more "great" on all continents. And Africa even more "free". Justice and happiness for African peoples," Prigozhin made a propaganda statement.

He said that Wagnerians "give ISIS, al-Qaeda and other gangs nightmares," he said.

Beware, the video was made by propaganda!

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, a well-known Bulgarian investigative journalist, Hristo Grozev, suggested that the founder of the Russian PMC Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, could be eliminated within six months. Otherwise, "a second coup will take place in Russia", said the head of Bellingcat.
