"The enemy is maneuvering and pulling back its forces": military officer says that strikes with Western weapons against Russia have changed

Allowing the Ukrainian military to strike Russia with Western weapons on a limited basis has helped reduce the terror of the occupiers in Kharkiv. In addition, the army of the aggressor country no longer feels safe beyond the state border.

This was stated by Yuriy Fedorenko, commander of the Achilles UAV battalion of the 92nd Separate Special Forces Brigade named after Ataman Ivan Sirko, in an interview with Espresso. The military noted that the number of Russian attacks on civilian targets in Kharkiv has decreased significantly, which means that there are fewer Ukrainian casualties and injuries.

According to him, there are two important components in the permission of Western countries to use the weapons they provide for strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation.

"The first is that the number of attacks on the city of Kharkiv has decreased significantly after these permits were issued. This means that the infrastructure and, most importantly, the civilian population is less exposed to enemy fire, there are fewer dead and wounded," noted Fedorenko.

With this step, the West has made it possible to reduce the Russian terror, particularly in Kharkiv.

In addition, as the serviceman emphasized, Russian troops no longer feel safe behind the state border, as they used to. Now the enemy is forced to maneuver, to pull its forces and means to safe places.

"The logistical leverage automatically increases many times over, and the longer the logistical leverage of the state border line, the more capabilities and opportunities we have to detect it in a timely manner and apply combined fire effects - artillery, high-precision weapons and, of course, UAVs, which have become an integral part of modern warfare," he continued.

The military added that it is very important that the West gives permission to strike at the military facilities of the Russian terrorist army throughout the Russian Federation, as well as at enterprises that process oil products. This finances the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, and, accordingly, the group of troops that is fighting against Ukraine.

He also expressed the opinion that after receiving modern fighters from partners, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to stop the air terror of Russian troops, destroying aircraft that attack Ukraine with bombs.
