Occupants attacked Cherkasy region with ''Shahed'' drones

On the night of September 26, Russian terrorists attacked Cherkasy region with Shahed kamikaze attack drones. One of the enemy drones hit an infrastructure facility.

Air defense forces destroyed 4 Russian UAVs over the region. The head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, reported this on Telegram .

According to the head of the regional military administration, one of the infrastructure facilities was damaged as a result of the enemy attack at night. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.

Taburets noted that the consequences of the drone attack are being eliminated at the scene.

"An alarming start to the day in Cherkasy region. At night, the enemy attacked our region with Shaheds. Air defense forces shot down four enemy air targets. However, there was a hit to an infrastructure facility. Preliminary, there were no casualties. The liquidation of the consequences is underway," said the head of the regional military administration.

As a reminder, on the night of September 26, the aggressor country Russia carried out another massive attack with Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones in Odesa region. Most of the drones were destroyed in the air, but there were also hits: the port infrastructure was damaged and people were injured.

Earlier it was reported that on September 26, Ukrainian defenders repelled a night attack by Russia with Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones. Twenty-six out of 28 such attack drones were destroyed in the sky.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, at dawn on September 26, a loud explosion and a column of smoke rose in Kryvyi Rih during an air raid. The occupiers attacked the region, hitting one of the enterprises.
