Popov explodes on a mine

Russian football referee Konstantin Popov was killed in Ukraine, where he came to kill our compatriots. The 25-year-old terrorist and occupier blew himself up on a mine along with other soldiers from the aggressor country, and died in hospital a week later.

This was reported by the propaganda outlet Crimea 24 on its Telegram channel. Z-Patriots notes that Popov was seriously injured "while performing a combat mission in the Donetsk sector" and served in the Russian Armed Forces under contract.

The publication also quotes the words of the traitor to Ukraine and scandalous judge Yuriy Vaks. According to him, Popov "fought for his life in hospital for a week, but, unfortunately, he could not recover". Interestingly, the website of the so-called Crimean Football Union (CFU) and its social media pages did not contain any mention of the referee's death at the time of writing.

Earlier, it became known that 31-year-old football referee Danil Shemetov from Ulyanovsk, who was to make his debut in the Russian first league, was killed. And former Russian national team player Andrei Solomatin came to kill Ukrainians and said that in this way he was helping clubs from Russia return to Europe.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) demanded that Russia be punished after Sevastopol and Rubin Yalta made their debuts in the Russian Second League.
