Ukrainian boxing champion knocked out in the US in 14 seconds with her first punch. Video
Multiple Ukrainian boxing champion Olena Kolesnyk, who competes in mixed martial arts (MMA), has been defeated in the US Professional Fighters League (PFL). The 32-year-old from Odesa lost to Brazilian Larissa Pacheco in the semi-finals.
One of the biggest differences between the RFL and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is that the PFL uses a seasonal format.
The match between Kolesnyk and Pacheco lasted 14 seconds. The first cross shook the Ukrainian, and then the Brazilian fighter simply hammered her opponent.
"It was a fast but hard night for me and my team. If you ask me again if I will fight Larissa again, yes, I will, but I will work even harder than I did for this fight because I really believe I can be the champion of this season and beat any other girl right now. Larissa was right, she found the key to beat me, but I promise I will come back stronger for the next fight," commented Olena.
Before that, Pacheco and Kolesnyk had met twice in the RFL, and Pacheco celebrated her victory twice. Last season, the Latin American representative became the PFL champion.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, last April, the Ukrainian champion created a huge sensation by winning an MMA tournament in the United States.
