World No. 24 Elina Svitolina posted a small photo report in which she shared the most memorable photos from her trip to Ukraine. On Instagram, the 30-year-old tennis player showed the most memorable shots from Kyiv locations.
In one photo, Ukraine's second tennis player poses in front of a church in the center of the capital.
The other shows a simple Kyiv courtyard, a sportswear store with its poster, and a restaurant in the capital with a specialty dish.
The athlete also took a photo of her view from the window of the Fairmont Grand Hotel, located on the Dnipro Riverfront.
"Join me on this wild ride through a country of resilience, smiles, sunshine, and endless borscht! ๐๐๐ My Ukraine!" Svitolina signed her post.
As reported on September 18, she underwent surgery on her right leg and has recently been undergoing rehabilitation in the Ukrainian capital.
During her visit to Kyiv, Svitolina was struck by the fact that many pharmacies in the city are not equipped with special ramps for people with disabilities.
