The Investigative Committee of the Main Investigative Department of the Russian Federation has opened a case against Dynamo Kyiv midfielder and Ukraine's national team player Oleksandr Aliyev, TASS reports. The investigation is being conducted under the article on public calls for terrorist activities (part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - up to 7 years in prison).

On August 26 and 27, the Russian invaders launched massive strikes on Ukraine, using 127 missiles and 109 attack drones. On August 30, Aliyev posted a video on his Instagram in which he addressed the Ukrainian military.

"As you know, tonight, in the morning, this scum shelled our entire Ukraine. I want to ask the guys who are on the front line, who are moving on in the Kursk region: guys, the most important thing is to take care of yourselves, move on and kill this evil, kill civilians the way they do with our women, with our innocent children. The most important thing I wish you is to take care of yourself," the 39-year-old ex-footballer said.

On August 31, Aliyev reacted to the fact that a case had been opened against him in Russia with a picture on Instagram.

"The cops put me on the wanted list," Alexander wrote.
