Battery malfunctions are one of the main causes of smartphone breakdowns, so it's extremely important not to neglect charging rules. Otherwise, the battery will quickly become unusable.

In times of war and constant power outages, it is especially important for Ukrainians to have a charged cell phone. To preserve your smartphone battery for longer, you should keep in mind the basic rules.

High-quality charger

A low-quality charger can quickly damage the battery. Therefore, you should use only original chargers.

Charging "overnight"

Frequent charging cycles are also undesirable. It's best not to leave your smartphone charging for a long period of time, including overnight. This is one of the most common mistakes. A complete discharge is equally harmful.

Overheating

If your smartphone overheats, it will quickly malfunction. Overheating, as well as frequent charging cycles, should be avoided. Therefore, experts do not recommend leaving the gadget under a pillow overnight or in a case while charging.

Using your smartphone while charging

Leave your gadget alone after you put it on the charger. Put off watching videos, social media, or playing online games. If possible, don't even make phone calls during this period.

Temperature swings

In winter, when you enter the room after the cold, you should not immediately charge your gadget. The temperature difference is bad for the battery. The same goes for overheating. It is better to wait until the smartphone warms up to room temperature.
