The building burned down completely, one soldier killed: new details of the drone attack on Belgorod region

During a drone attack on the Grayvoronsky district of the Belgorod region on June 25, a school building was hit: it burned down completely. The governor of the region was quick to assure that the building had not been used for a long time, but it turned out that this was not the case.

Russian soldiers were based there, and one of them was killed in the attack. This was reported by the Russian edition of ASTRA.

A school building in the village of Moshenoye, Yakovlevsky urban district, was hit by a Ukrainian drone the day before. The village is about 25 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.

Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov was quick to assure that the building had not been used for a long time.

"In the village of Moshenoye, the building of a former school completely burned down as a result of the hit," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

However, Russian journalists claim that the official lied.

"The Russian military was based there... According to ASTRA sources, one soldier was killed and another was injured as a result of the detonation and subsequent fire," the publication said.

In the video that appeared online, locals who came to see the burning building discuss the detonation of the shells, which they heard earlier.

The occupiers seem to have accumulated a lot of ammunition in the school building. Due to the threat of further detonation, about 200 people were evacuated from nearby houses.

To recap, the day before, on June 25, the DIU struck the occupiers' ammunition warehouse in the Voronezh region. The drones hit this facility around 3 a.m. A massive fire broke out there and the detonation lasted several hours.
