Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko congratulated Ukrainian poet and writer, dissident and moral authority of Ukrainians Lina Kostenko, who turned 93 today, on her birthday. Klitschko noted that Lina Kostenko embodies the spirit and dignity of the Ukrainian people.
The mayor of Kyiv published his congratulations on his Facebook page.
"Today is the birthday of a person who embodies the spirit and dignity of the Ukrainian people - Lina Kostenko. Lina Vasylivna's creativity inspires Ukrainians to fight for their freedom and win, not to betray the ideals and be proud of their country," the mayor of the capital emphasized. "Thank you for your talent, unbreakable principles, your strength and nobility! I am happy to know you personally. Many years of live, Lina Vasylivna! Glory to Ukraine!" wrote Vitalii Klitschko.
