The military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have shown what Bakhmut looks like today. The fierce battle for the fortress city has been going on for about nine months.
During this time, the occupiers' shelling has turned Bakhmut into a ghost town. The corresponding video was published by the press service of the Ukrainian Ground Forces (to watch it, scroll down to the end).
The video, in particular, shows the extent of the consequences of enemy attacks.
The video shows destroyed apartment buildings on both sides of the road.
A March 29 operational report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the occupiers had "partial success" near Bakhmut, but that Ukrainian defenders continued to bravely defend their positions.
On the morning of March 30, the General Staff said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had repelled 28 assaults in Bakhmut over the past 24 hours.

- According to the General Staff, the enemy is concentrating its offensive on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka directions. Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Avdiivka and Maryinka are at the epicentre of the fighting.
- The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a militant group's warehouse and military equipment near Bakhmut. The Ukrainian military tracked down an enemy base in the suburbs and hit the target with a single shot, after which a massive fire broke out.
- The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine notes that the enemy's so-called "big offensive" was in fact a flop. Ukrainian intelligence has predicted how long Russia will be able to wage war.
- Journalist Yuriy Butusov showed a video from the residential areas of Bakhmut. There is silence there, interrupted only by the sounds of explosions.
