How to cook beans with meat deliciously: a recipe for a hearty and quick dish
Meat and beans are an ideal combination of products for preparing hearty and tasty dishes. It's worth noting that beans are very healthy in boiled and canned form, making delicious soups, porridge, fillings for pies, dumplings and pates.
Cook Yulia shared a recipe for delicious and hearty beans with meat and tomato juice on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 500 g of pork
- 300 g of beans
- 1 onion
- 1 piece of carrot
- 1 piece of bell pepper
- 250 ml of tomato juice
- salt, pepper, bay leaf
- herbs
- oil
Method of preparation:
1. Soak the beans overnight, then rinse and cook for 40 minutes.
2. Fry the meat, cut into small pieces, in a little oil until it is golden brown. When the beans are half cooked, put them in the meat and add a little water in which they were cooked. Simmer for 25-30 minutes, adding water if necessary.
3. Meanwhile, fry the onion, sliced in half rings, carrots, and bell pepper, cut into strips, in vegetable oil for 10 minutes. Add tomato juice, bring to a boil, and pour the sauce into the meat and beans. Cook for another 10-15 minutes, then season with salt and pepper.
Tip: To make the tomato sauce less acidic, you can add a little sugar to it. If the tomato sauce seems too runny, add a little flour and stir quickly.
Serve the dish hot, and sprinkle with herbs!
