Despite its low cost and low calorie content, cabbage is considered extremely healthy and vitamin-packed. It is best eaten fresh and combined in a light vegetable salad without mayonnaise. The dish will be the perfect complement to cereals, potatoes, and a hearty dinner in general.

  • cabbage - 1 kg
  • bell pepper - 300 g
  • carrots - 200 g
  • onion - 200 g
  • sugar - 50 g
  • sunflower oil - 50 ml
  • vinegar 6% - 40 ml
  • salt - 2/3 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Chop cabbage.

2. Grate carrots.

3. Cut onions into half rings.

4. Cut bell pepper into strips. Mix all the vegetables.

5. Add salt, sugar, oil and vinegar. Mix and leave the salad for 4 hours.

This salad can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
