If you run out of bread, you don't have to run to the store to buy it. Chances are, you have all the ingredients you need in your kitchen to make a decent substitute.
Recently, food blogger Maya Leinenbach shared on her TikTok what you can make instead of bread in just 15 minutes. The blogger assured that after making this "substitute" just once, you will no longer have the desire to buy store-bought bread.
Ingredients
- Flour - 200 g
- Baking powder - 2 tsp
- Salt - a pinch
- Yogurt - 180 g
- Oil - 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation
1. Sift the flour into a bowl with the baking powder.
2. Add salt, yogurt and oil.
3. Knead the dough until it has a uniform consistency.
4. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts and roll out.
5. Put the dough on the frying pan. As soon as bubbles appear, turn it over to the other side.
6. Remove from the pan and place on a towel to keep the cakes soft.
