What water to boil dumplings in and why throwing them into boiling water is a bad idea: We explain

As a rule, the key to delicious and juicy dumplings is the dough and the filling. However, it is just as important to be able to boil them correctly, so that they do not stick together or collapse in the process. Even the temperature of the water matters.
The editors of FoodOboz collected information and will tell you why you should not throw dumplings into the boiling water and what it can mean.
To avoid unpleasant consequences, you should not throw the dumplings in boiling water, but in normal hot water. If it happens that the dumplings are already in boiling water, then do not panic. You can pour a glass of cold water into the pot with the dumplings.
This is especially true for frozen dumplings. The fact is that frozen dumplings are usually dry and malleable. Therefore, throwing them into the boiling water, you only aggravate the situation - they begin to burst, boil and stick together.
In addition, it is equally important to observe the following rules:
- The pot in which you will cook semi-finished products, choose a wide so that the dumplings freely feel in it.
- The water should fill the pot by three or two-thirds.
- Salt the water only after boiling. Additionally, you can add just a little bit of oil to the water.
- Once you put the dumplings in the water, swipe the bottom of the pan with a slotted skimmer so they don't stick.
