The late Queen Elizabeth II preferred a fairly simple diet. To be full, it was enough for her to eat baked meat and vegetables for lunch. Her real weakness was chocolate cupcakes.

Ingredients:

  • flour - 160 g (+ 10 g for sprinkling the mold)
  • eggs - 2 pcs (+1 egg separately for sugar)
  • sugar - 100 g
  • cocoa - 1 tbsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp.
  • dark chocolate - 80 g
  • butter - 150 g (+10 g for greasing the mold)
  • salt - a pinch

Method of preparation:

1. In a bowl, beat 1 egg with sugar with a whisk.

2. Pour flour into another bowl and add 2 more eggs.

3. Mix well with a whisk.

4. Then add cocoa and baking powder to the flour, mix thoroughly again.

5. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat and pour it into the flour mixture. Mix thoroughly.

6. Combine the beaten egg with sugar with the flour mixture and mix well. Cut 80 g of chocolate into random small pieces, pour them into the dough and distribute evenly.

7. Grease the baking dish completely with butter and then sprinkle a little flour on the inside.

8. Shake off the excess flour.

9. Put the dough into the mold and put it in a preheated 180-degree oven for 35-40 minutes.

10. Check if it's ready with a wooden stick.

11. Let the finished cupcake cool for about 10 minutes, then remove from the mold and cut.
