To make a hearty and tender pate, you don't have to make it from chicken or liver. Fresh seasonal mushrooms and beans are perfect for an appetizer. A few other simple ingredients will complete the flavor.

Ingredients:

  • beans - 500 g
  • fresh mushrooms - 200 g
  • garlic - 2-4 cloves
  • onion - 1 pc
  • carrot - 1 pc
  • vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
  • mayonnaise - 1 tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • thyme, oregano - 1/2 tsp.
  • salt and ground black pepper - to taste

1. Boil the beans beforehand. To do this, soak them in cold water for two to three hours in advance, or better yet, overnight. Then boil them until the beans are tender. Add salt at the end of cooking

2. Fry onions, carrots and mushrooms in vegetable oil until tender.

3. Grind the boiled beans and fried vegetables with a meat grinder on a fine sieve until smooth.

4. Grate garlic, add spices, lemon juice and mayonnaise.

5. Mix everything well.
