Soup with meatballs is one of the easiest first courses. That's because the meatballs boil quickly enough that you don't need to skim the foam from the broth. But very often meatballs fall apart when exposed to high temperatures. This problem can be easily solved by frying.
The idea of cooking soup with fried meatballs was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Emilia Yevtushenko (emiliya.yevtushenko). The meat is set and covered with a crust. In this form, it will definitely not fall apart.
Ingredients:
- 5-6 pieces of potatoes
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- minced meat - 500 grams
- 150 ml of cream (you can also use sour cream)
- 1 egg
- herbs
- salt, pepper, bay leaves
Method of preparation:
1. Wash, peel and chop all vegetables. Chop potatoes into medium cubes, grate carrots and chop half an onion into small cubes.
3. Boil.
4. Salt water and add bay leaves and half an onion.
5. Meanwhile, add the fried half of the chopped onion, spices and egg to the minced meat and mix well.
6. Heat a frying pan, add oil, form balls and fry to form a crust.
7. Put the meatballs to the potatoes, add the grated carrots, adjust the flavor and cook until the meatballs are fully cooked.
8. At the end, add cream (preheat to prevent curdling) and finely chopped herbs.
9. Bring to a boil.
