What to do with bananas so they don't turn black for a long time: an elementary life hack

If you buy bananas and don't eat them right away, the fruit begins to darken. The texture of this product becomes too soft and the taste is bitter. Therefore, you should use a simple life hack to keep the fruit fresh for as long as possible. A universal method of storing bananas was published by the American publication Eat This, Not That.
To keep bananas fresh for a long time and not blacken, they need to be wrapped in cling film. The fruit should be immediately in the peel. This wrapper keeps the natural gas ethylene at the end of the fruit. Otherwise, it would spread to the entire banana and accelerate ripening.
And if your bananas have darkened, you can make bread out of them. The idea was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anastasia Lysak (an.lysak).
Ingredients:
- bananas - 300 g (the riper the better)
- eggs - 2 pcs
- wheat flour - 220 g
- 82% butter - 50 g
- refined vegetable oil - 50 g
- honey - 2 tbsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp.
- cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- salt - a pinch
- nuts/dried fruits as desired - 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Blend the banana in a blender until smooth.
2. Mix the eggs, salt and honey well.
3. Add mashed potatoes, oil and melted butter. Stir well.
4. Add cinnamon, sifted flour and baking powder, mix well (no lumps in the dough).
5. Pour the dough into a baking dish covered with parchment (optionally, you can decorate with a banana cut in half).
6. Bake for 50-55 minutes at 180 degrees.
