What to cook for children for dinner: 5 menu options to make your life easier
If you don't know what to feed your child in the evening, you can use ready-made menus. The main condition is that a "Healthy Eating Plate" (HEP), created by experts from the Harvard School of Public Health, should be formed.
Food blogger Oksana Pidhaina offered 5 options for a healthy dinner for children on her Instagram page. Among them, you can choose any option that you and your child like.
Option 1:
- mashed potatoes
- turkey meat stewed with carrots and onions
- salad (cabbage, tomato, cucumber, onion) dressed with olive oil
- kiwi gold
- sweet cherry
Option 2:
- pasta with shrimp and cream sauce
- tomato
- orange
Option 3:
- rice with butter
- steamed salmon
- bread
- cucumber
- pepper
- corn
- pear
Option 4:
- pasta with butter
- boiled pork tongue
- tomato, cucumber
- hard cheese
- kiwi gold
- strawberry
Option 5:
- new potatoes with butter and dill
- steamed hake
- salad (cabbage, cucumber, onion) dressed with olive oil
- zucchini pancakes
- strawberries
- banana
Each of these options is suitable for both younger children and teenagers. Or you can simply use these options as a menu for 5 days.
