What to add to the cutlets to keep them from falling apart and to make them fluffy: a very simple ingredient
If you cook cutlets from some kind of dietary meat, chicken, or turkey, they can fall apart. This is because the product is quite dry. Therefore, for the products to keep their shape and remain dietary at the same time, you can add corn grits to the minced meat.
The idea of making turkey cutlets with corn grits was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Halyna reeixit.
Ingredients:
- 1 chicken or turkey fillet
- 1 zucchini
- 3-4 medium boiled potatoes
- a bunch of herbs on request
- 1 large onion
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- 1 egg
- 2-3 tbsp. of corn grits
- salt, pepper
- dried garlic
Method of preparation:
1. Grind everything in a blender.
2. Scoop with a spoon, put in flour, and lightly roll.
3. Shake off the excess flour.
4. Fry over medium heat under a closed lid for 3 minutes on each side.
5. Serve with sour cream and a light salad.
