Green pancakes

Ingredients (serving per person):

  • medium-sized egg - 1 pc.
  • wheat flour - 85 g
  • fresh spinach - 70 g
  • sparkling water - 70 ml
  • vegetable oil - 1 tbsp
  • milk - 85 ml
  • salt - a pinch

Method of preparation:

1. Rinse the spinach well.

2. Put in a separate bowl, pour in milk and water. Whisk the ingredients until smooth.

3. Add flour, egg and a pinch of salt to the green mixture and mix well.

4. Add the oil and beat again.

5. Leave the dough for 15 minutes.

6. Fry the pancakes: put them in small portions in a frying pan, cook on both sides.

7. Serve with feta cheese, chicken and sun-dried tomatoes or cream cheese and salmon.

Yellow pancakes

Ingredients (a portion for two):

  • milk - 125 ml
  • corn flour - 150 g
  • sparkling water - 100 ml
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • salt - a pinch
  • baking powder - 1/3 tsp.
  • vegetable oil - 1 tbsp. l.

Method of preparation:

1. Pour the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl or blender, mix the ingredients with a spoon.

2. Add the egg, milk, water and oil, then turn on the blender and beat all the ingredients until smooth.

3. Pour the mixture into a frying pan and fry on both sides until golden brown.

4. Can be served with homemade canned food or cheese, red beans, peppers, corn, well-seasoned minced meat and cheese.

Brown pancakes

Ingredients (a portion for one person):

  • wheat flour - 60 g
  • baking powder - 1/3 tsp.
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • dark cocoa - 1 tbsp.
  • sugar-free chocolate - 2 pieces
  • milk - 90 ml
  • vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Pour flour, cocoa and baking powder into a bowl or blender.

2. Pour in the milk, oil and add the egg. If you want your pancakes to have a rich brown color and a more expressive flavor, you can add two more (melted) sugar-free dark chocolate cubes.

3. Mix everything for 2 minutes. The batter for chocolate pancakes can be a little thicker than traditional pancakes, so they will turn out to be coarser. If you like thin pancakes, add a little water to the mixture.

4. Pour the batter into the pan and fry on both sides.

5. Serve with fruit, jam and cream cheese.

Red pancakes

Ingredients (a portion for one person):

  • beetroot - 85 g
  • wheat flour - 35 g
  • milk - 50 ml
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • baking powder - 1/3 tsp.
  • vegetable oil - 1 tbsp
  • salt - a pinch

Method of preparation:

1. Rinse the beets under running water, peel and cut into small pieces. Wrap each of them in baking paper.

2. Put in a preheated 180 degree oven and bake for about 40 minutes.

3. Place the cooled, soft and chopped (or grated) beets in a blender with the egg and milk. Blend until smooth.

4. Add flour, baking powder, oil and a pinch of salt. Mix again, adding a little more sparkling water if necessary.

5. Pour the batter into a frying pan and fry the pancakes on both sides.

6. Serve with arugula, egg and tomatoes.
