  • chicken hearts - 650 g
  • chicken thigh - 2 pcs
  • potatoes - 4-5 pcs
  • carrots - 1 pc
  • onion - 1 pc
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • vegetable oil - 30 ml
  • buckwheat groats - 100 g
  • spices: salt, pepper - to taste,
  • greens - to taste

1. Wash the chicken thighs, dry them with paper towels.

2. For the broth, you can use wings, drumsticks, soup set instead of thighs. Hearts are also washed.

3. Remove the excess from them - pieces of fat and film and cut each into 2-4 pieces.

4. Put the chicken and hearts in a saucepan, add water to cover the top. Bring to a boil.

5. After that, drain all the water, rinse and pour new water if necessary. Repeat the procedure again. For the third time, add 3 liters of water and cook the broth for about 40 minutes over low heat after boiling. If you wish, you can add a spoonful of seasoning to the broth - a mixture of dried vegetables, herbs and spices.

6. Meanwhile, prepare the vegetables: peel the potatoes, carrots, onions, and garlic. Cut everything into pieces: potatoes into medium cubes, carrots and onions into small ones. Chop the garlic.

7. After 40 minutes of cooking the broth, add the potatoes to the pot. Fry the carrots and onions in heated oil over low heat in a frying pan. The vegetables should be soft, but not fried. Add chopped garlic, stir and turn off the heat.

8. You can keep the buckwheat in the oven or in a dry frying pan for a few minutes to make the flavor and taste more pronounced.

9. Add buckwheat and vegetables to the pot. Cook the soup for another 15 minutes. Add salt and pepper, cook for another 2 minutes and turn off.

10. Sprinkle with chopped greens before serving.
