The idea of cooking crispy pickled cucumbers for the winter with ketchup was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Vitalina with the nickname vitala_foodblog. You only need 5 ingredients for the marinade.
Ingredients for the marinade for 5-liter jars:
- 7 glasses of water
- 1 cup of vinegar 9%
- 2 tbsp. l salt
- 1 cup of sugar
- 6-8 tbsp. l. chili ketchup
Method of preparation:
1. Put the ingredients for the marinade in a saucepan.
2. Boil for 5 minutes.
3. Put 1 clove, 1 allspice, and 2-3 black peppercorns on the bottom of a clean jar.
4. Cut off the ends of the cucumbers on both sides and place them in a jar.
5. Pour the hot marinade over the cucumbers, sterilize for 10 minutes, and tighten the lids.
6. Zucchini can also be preserved using the same recipe by cutting them into 1 cm thick rings.
