Shrimp is a fairly common ingredient in many dishes. On their own, these seafoods are quite neutral, but they reveal their flavor best in a salad with other ingredients. The key is to choose the right products.
The idea of making a fresh shrimp salad was published on the Instagram page of MasterChef project participant Tetiana (tetianka_ilina).
Ingredients:
- couscous - 50 g
- shrimps - 150 g
- green peas - 50 g (can be fresh or canned)
- pomegranate - 20 g
- tomatoes - 0.5 pcs.
- broccoli - 150 g
- toasted sesame seeds
- olive oil
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Pour boiling water over couscous in a 1:2 ratio. Add spices, cover and leave for a while.
2. If the peas are fresh, blanch them for 30 seconds with boiled salted water.
3. Add broccoli to the pea water (cut into florets) and blanch for 1 minute.
4. Then cover with cold water.
5. Peel shrimp, season with salt and pepper and cook for 3 minutes in the same water.
6. Remove and sprinkle with some sesame seeds.
7. Blanch tomato (put it in boiling water for a few seconds and then in ice water) and remove the skin.
