What dough makes the most delicious dumplings: the simplest recipe

Dumplings are the simplest dish that is very easy to make at home with a minimum amount of ingredients. And for them not to be hard, you need to make good dough. One of these is choux pastry - it turns out to be quite elastic, does not stick to your hands, and is also suitable for dumplings and pasties.
Food blogger Inna Andreeva (inka_andreeva) shared her recipe for choux pastry for dumplings on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- flour - 500 g
- salt - 1 tsp.
- eggs - 1 pc.
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
- boiling water - 200-300 ml (depends on the flour)
Method of preparation:
1. Add salt, beaten egg, and oil to the sifted flour.
2. Gradually pour boiling water, kneading the dough quickly. First stir with a fork, then with your hands. Cover with cling film and leave for 30 minutes.
This amount of dough is enough for 500 g of minced meat. To make a juicy dumpling filling, mix the minced meat with chopped onion and water. Also add spices: salt and pepper.
