What cheese makes the most delicious baked potatoes: a simple recipe

Typically, potatoes are baked with hard cheese, which melts during the cooking process and becomes very viscous. As an alternative, you can try salty brynza cheese. Although this type of cheese crumbles on its own, it becomes quite homogeneous during baking. That's why the dish is so tender and melts in your mouth.
Food blogger Olena Sagun, known as elena_sagun, shared a recipe for baked potatoes with brynza on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- potatoes – 500 g
- cheese – 100 g
- sour cream – 2 tbsp
- melted butter – 30 g
- salt, pepper
- mixture of herbs/spices
An important point: before starting cooking, the food blogger advises to taste the cheese to understand how salty it is. Then you will know whether you need to add salt to the potatoes or not.
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium cubes. Boil in salted water until half-cooked. During this time, preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
2. When the vegetable is cooked, drain the water from the pan and put the potatoes in a deep bowl. Add butter, sour cream, and chopped cheese. Stir to combine.
4. Add salt, pepper and spices.
5. Put the potatoes in a baking dish or pot. Cover with a lid or foil. Bake until tender. It takes about 30 minutes.
